You have our support

Thanks for your prompt reply. You now have my husband's and my vote and our support of your campaign as you move forward. We will coordinate with Ken as to how we can help you and will try to make it downtown to meet you. We will also encourage those who come to the sign wave to go downtown also. We don't plan on the wave to last too long as the police will likely shut us down. (The wave is over interstate 68 on a bridge while major holiday weekend traffic moves west toward Deep Creek Lake.)

...you should be commended

Your support of a Constitutional Amendment Overturning the Supreme Courts Ruling Enabling Corporations to have our rights of Personhood & to thus swamp elections shows great leadership in this very divisive political climate & you should be commended for this....

God Bless, and go get 'em!

My wife and i will be supporting you in your attempt to unseat Mr. Barlett. Although we do not agree 100% with your policies, I believe you are sincere and want to change Washington for the better. Roscoe, among other lifetime congressmen, need to go. When you win, we will then deal with our disagreements. God Bless, and go get'em!

Roscoe, ...time for him to retire

My wife and I read your bio in today's paper. We were impressed. We are Republicans, and like Roscoe, but think maybe it's time for him to retire. We attended his townhall in Cumberland, and it seems he has no solutions to today's problems, and is content to stay the course. We think otherwise. I would like to talk to you. Thank you,

Ken

Great Show

Thank you so much for being on our show. You were terrific! I wanted to let you know that one of the people in our chat room, "MovinForward" lives in your district, and he told me that based on your answers today, he would now support you, and would have his conservative church group support you as well.

At any rate, he was really happy with your answers; especially regarding the 2nd amendment and your views on supporting Israel.

We will keep a close watch on your campaign, and pray for your continuing success! Best wishes, and we definitely would like to have you on again! Hopefully I will be feeling better and will market it a lot better. I apologize for that.

The time has come.

Term Limits!

I want it clearly known, I adored my great grandmother… But would I have had her sitting in congress making HUGE decisions for our republic fro over 16 years? Not on your life! (though she certainly had more common-sense) than most.

Why in Heaven’s name would any district repeatedly vote in someone over and over again? Have we gotten so lazy we just “check” a familiar name on the ballot without lookng at the issues or the candidates? Seems that is what the voters in our district did in 2008.

Wake up people, please! Get to know the candidates. Our system was designed to have representation in the House elected FROM the community to SERVE that community and then to RETURN to that community. Career politicians never return to their communities, therefore, they have NO problem continuing down their self-serving paths – for DECADES!

After three terms they start to believe it is their right to stay in Congress to they are carried out. They become the servents of those who can keep them in office, the lobbyists, special interest groups and PACs.

It's rime for us to say thank you Mr. Bartlett, but it's time for you to move on, take care of the farm and rebuild your housing complex.

Time for a Clean Sweep

Over the past several years, it has become increasingly obvious that Congress is a club of good ol' boys (and girls) who seem to be motivated more by their personal biases than by what is best for our country.

My thought has been that we would all be better off to get rid of the whole bunch and start over. Recently, this approach has been advocated by syndicated columnists. A recent ABC poll showed that three-fourths of those surveyed would favor a clean sweep, even if their own party ended up out of power.

Unfortunately, there is currently no provision in place to accomplish this quickly. However, let's start the process by voting against every incumbent who runs for re-election.

Healthcare Reform - Not in It's Current Form

We need health care reform but the bill in front of Congress today inplements in a manner that will not reform the system.

- Cost: $940 billion over 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office. This estimate includes 10 years of taxing and fees and only includes 7 years of benefits. This estimate also assumes that the program will cost what the government says it will- more often than not, government programs end up costing 2-3 times what they say it will cost.

- It would expand coverage to 32 million uninsured, which means that at its heart, it is the largest welfare expansion in a generation. This comes after decades of successful welfare reform that has cut the number of people on government welfare by considerable numbers- this indeed is a change.

- Almost everyone would be required by law to be insured by 2014 or else pay a fine. As Mr. Krysztoforski said yesterday during a meeting, "the government does not have the power or authority to mandate everyone have coverage, in fact it is is unconstitutional, and anyone who supports it supports This measure is shredding the Constitution.

- Consumer safeguards will take effect in 2014. These safeguards are important and should tahe effect the moment the President signs the bill.

- Not included in the bill- anything that reduces the cost of healthcare, anything that reduces the cost of providing healthcare or anything that protects life.

They must go back to the drawing board and draft a bill that addresses the core issues of healthcare reform.

This is Great!

This is great news. I just donated, 10.00 dollars to his campaign. As a full time student it's all I can spare right now. I will be volunteering to help with the campaign.

I followed his campaign in 2006 and in 2008 but was not of age to vote. This nation and the world will belong to my generation and I for one want a representative that sees things as they really are and not through rose colored glasses.

As an assignment for a PolSci class I had to watch twelve hours of Congressional proceedings. For two days all they discussed were resolutions to recognize people, teams and events in their states.. What a waste of time and taxpayers money.

Contribute, volunteer or do both! Voice your support for our generation, our children and the future of the nation.

I like some of your views. I don't know if you are strong enough on protecting our community from illegals. I wish I could see a debate between you and the other young man talking about the negative effect of the aliens in our community. Frederick is now being invaded and I don't like it. I appreciate all the effort the two candidates have put into their campaigns. I don't know which I will pick on Tuesday. But I may have to go to the one who takes the strongest realistic stand against immigration, JTK. God bless you all.
