Who May Register?

• Anyone who resides in Maryland
• Will be 18 years old by the next General Election
• Is not disqualified by a criminal record
• Is not under guardianship for mental disability.

When must I register?

• by June 21, 2010 to change party affiliation.
• by August 24, 2010 to vote in the Primary Election.
• by October 12, 2008 to vote in the General Election.

How can I register to vote?

• visit your local DMV office
• visit your county Board of Elections
• download, fill out and mail the registration form

What if I am out of town or away at school?

• contact your county Board of Elections
• download, fill out and mail the absentee ballot request form
